Horseback trip to Son Kul lake

Program:

Day 1 / Bishkek – Kochkor:

Pick up from Bishkek at your hotel. Drive to north part. Stop to visit Burana Tower on the way. Lunch at Boom gorge. Walking to Konerchek red canyons(2h hiking). Photo stop at Orto Tokoy reservoir. Arrival to Kochkor town. Visit felt fabrication by local womans. Demonstration of felt. Installation at guest house. Traditional dinner making by local family and with traditional folk 210km transfer by car. Guest house Shower/WC

Day 2 / On horseback – Kilemche pastures:

Morning breakfast at guest house. Drive to Jumgal region (60km). Meeting with horses on Kyz Art pass. Start our adventures on Kyrgyz horses. The beautiful landscape of the Tian Mountains and nice views to the steppe mountains. Picnic on the way. Gallop on some parts of the wild nature and on green mountains. Installation at yourt camp. B/L/D. 5h riding on horses with picnic.

Day 3 / On horseback - Son Kul lake:

Today we will ride to up to Tuz Ashuu pass at 3400m alt. Picnic on the top. Fantastic views to the lake. Ride to Batay aral yourt village. Installation in the yourt at 3016m alt. Walking around or swimming. B/L/D. 6h riding with a picnic. Yourts.

Day 4 / Son Kul lake – drive to Bishkek:

Transfer back to Bishkek via Kochkor town. Lunch at Boom gorge. B/L. Arrival to your hotel and End of trip.

Duration: 4 days

Short horsback riding trip to best horseback destination in Kyrgyzstan. Son Kul lake is a second biggest mountain lake at 3016m alt. in our country. On this itinerary you will discover to wild nature and nomad's life in high mountians. You will sleap in traditional yourts, eating nomad's food. Finaly you will feel the power of kyrgyz horses when you cross the pass at 3400m alt. Our local horse guides will be safety and fun with you.

Highlights: Kochkor city, Burana Tower, sceneric views, Kyz Art pass, Son Kul lake, Jaman Echki, Tuz Ashuu pass, Batay Aral.
