Ski Adventures in Karakol

Ski touring program in Jyrgalan valley
Day 1. Bishkek – Issykkul lake, Jurgalan valley. 470km.
Morning, meeting with a guide at hotel in Bishkek or in airport and transfer to Karakol city via north shore of Issykkul lake. We will have few photo stops on the way and we have lunch at local restaurant. Arrival to Karakol, shopping in supermarket for the ski touring days. Transfer to Jurgalan. Arrival to the camp and accommodation in private yurt. Traditional dinner by our chef. 
Day 2. Back country skiing – Chunkur Tor peak. 
Start point is 2150m atl. Breakfast at 8:00.
The time to climb to Chunkur Tor 3-4 hours. Distance is -+6 km.
The elevation is +1000m.
The maximum slope on the rise is about 25 degrees. The maximum slope on the descent is about 33 degrees.
Day 3 Backcountry skiing – Fransuz peak.
The starting point is 2250m. 
3-4h. 
5.5km.
The elevation is +-850m.
The maximum slope on the ascent is 30 degrees. The maximum slope on the descent is about 30-35 degrees.
Day 4 Back country skiing – MES peak.
The starting point is 2250m.
3 hours. 5km .
The elevation is +-850m.
The maximum slope on the ascent is 27 degrees. The maximum slope on the descent is about 30-35 degrees.
Day 5 Backcountry skiing – 2 times. 
The first. The point is 2250m.
The time of the ascent to the top of the "Right Ministry of Emergency Situations" is 2 hours. The distance of the ascent is 3.3 km, elevation is +-750m.
The maximum slope on the rise is 25 degrees. The maximum slope on the descent is about 30 degrees.
The second. The starting point is 2750m. The time of ascent to the top of the slope is 1 hour. The distance is 1.3 km
The height difference is 400m.
The maximum slope on the ascent is 30 degrees and the maximum slope on the descent is 30 degrees.
Day 6. Drive back to the capital BISHKEK.
Last breakfast and transfer to Bishkek. We take the route by southern shore of Issykkul lake and we will visit to beautiful landscapes on the way. Jety Oguz valley – the Seven Bulls and Jaralangan jyrok – the Broken Heart canyons. Walking in Skazska canyons, 1h. Arrival to Bishkek and end of trip.)

Jyrgalan valley - visit in winter, to find a fairytale landscape, surrounded by the white summits and fresh snow, perfect for skiing. Jyrgalan Valley is especially known for its off-piste skiing possibilities and great conditions. In the village, you can find a variety of accommodation from traditional yurts to hostels and guest houses. Come for the adventure, stay for the hospitality, that local residents will treat you with on every visit.
Winter Yurt camp - our yurt camp is located in the wild nature of Jyrgalan valley at 2200m alt. Accommodation in national yurts that are very warm in winter. There is drinking water, Internet connection. A Russian bania is open every evening. Electricity through a generator and solar panels. Our chef prepares breakfast, lunch boxes and delicious dinners.
