WHAT TO DO, WHERE TO DO IN SPRING TIME IN KYRGYZSTAN?
There is a beauty all the seasons, where is a nature! Kyrgyzstan has an amazing nature to enjoy of it in all around the year! Every season, every month and even everyday there are a lot of activities, nature and events to make your day full of joy.
Spring: This is the time when nature is reborn after winter. I’m Nomad offers unforgettable spring tours in Kyrgyzstan. This is one of the best seasons to discover nomadic Kyrgyzstan. People- Agriculture in the fields, looking after the domastic animals, cleaning the gardens all the colourful flowers and finally the glaciers, snow-covered Tien Shan Mountains make you feel in paradise.
MARCH
March is the first month of this season and also it is the first month of the year. It includes local celebration of New Year by Nomad’s tradition on March 21. Every village, every region have this celebration so wherever you go in Kyrgyzstan you take part in and see how it goes on, like demonstration of the traditional games and some other shows. I’m Nomad team recommends the horseback riding in this month up to the mountains around Chon Kemin, Jeti-Oguz valley, Bokonbaev, Kizil Oy villages, around Issyk Kul lake and Toktogul regions. The hiking and walking in the mountains are not recommended because of the dirt. The hot spring waters are highly recommended in the mountains, just imagine swimming in the water + 45′ when you are surrounded by snow. And Skiing in Suusamyr.
APRIL
April has more activities – is good time for the expeditions by 4wd. You can drive into the vallies or gorges, from there start trekking or horseback riding up to the mountain glaciers. In this period, you can reach 3000m altitude above the see level. A lot of charming destinations for hiking are recommended by our guides, like around Bishkek, Chon Kemin national Park, Jeti Oguz gorge, around Bokonbaeva village, Kizil Oy village, Toktogul region and Arslanbob walnut forest. Every villages offer you horseback riding tours. There is no any festivals in April. But, the end of April is good time for the photo tours of flowers. In the vallies near the villages, working people and tractors in the fields and snow-covered peaks, glaciers give remarkable background.
MAY
Adventure, culture, mountains, horseback riding, hiking, hot spring, Jeep tours and biking tours are offered in May. The most of the mountain roads are opened. You can enjoy the all advantages of spring in Kyrgyzstan. There are a lot of the celebrity dates. In the big cities you can see the special festivals, demonstrations of the games, felts and some other shows. In the village, the local nomads people are moving up to the mountains for summer camping with their sheeps, horses, donkeys and the dogs, this is another spectacular view of the May.
